柏林來了位中國來的新客，高高瘦瘦，竹竿兒似地，臉上頗為英挺，唯有那鼻子和下巴稍嫌大了點，長了點，他心中百感交集，他已經要和懷有二子的妻子離婚，在他傳統的士紳父親眼裡，定是胡鬧，證書一簽下，一生效，倘若傳回中國，他父親必定暴跳如雷，臉部的青筋如蚯蚓般的亂竄，臉頰漲得豬肝似的……他不敢多想，平時他父親生氣還好，而這次，這次，一定是會和家裡決裂呀！柏林的暮秋真不好受，冷入了毛衣，輕吐口氣，就在眼鏡上結了大片的霧氣，朦朧的照著前路，想起以前的日子，在康河畔的種種，硤石的老父……想起一陣昏脹：別想，去罷，去罷，我意以決，誰也擋不著的！
