There came a lady wearing a winsome robe

She was elegant and ambling on the shore,

Humming a soulful melody which I couldn't ignore,

My heart gave a great throb.

Crabs and snails added chorus to her tune

The trees were only standing by to lend her shelter,

And pearls yearned to be a pendant on her

Snappy white shoes were pleased to carry her over the dune.

A fresh breeze was gusting through her hair

Dolphins and whales were gushing to greet,

While the waves were racing only to touch her feet

The pochette was proud to be dancing on her shoulder.

She went and stood near her stone palace

Leaning on the porch like a queen, enjoying the view,

Rocky walls came alive with her caress right through

which I was very grateful to witness.
