A song or poetry contest but with a twist
Rule 1: No names, colors, numbers, body parts, or emotions in the piece. No pronouns (he/she/they/me/you/I), possessions (his/hers/theirs/mine/my/your), or passive/be verbs (is/are/could have) or adverbs (those that end in -ly).
Rule 2: Before submitting, make sure action verbs are changed to metaphors (of the aforementioned action verbs).
Ex. Houses ensnare and incinerate the dearest of plans, these beds cage hollow thoughts and wallowing dreams, there illuminates many doors and windows to the world outside but oh, no escape! No way but deeper in, even deeper in than ever conceived before...
