明朝作為一個統一中原的朝代來說，已經算是相當不錯。

單論明朝的經濟，在17世紀來講，明朝當時的GPD已經是全球第一，歐洲那邊也只是大明的三分之一，而且，有人更說明朝是當時擁有最多火槍的國家。 

不過，花無百日紅，每個朝代都有由盛轉衰的時候，當中包括了人為因素或天災，有人說明朝亡於崇禎，有人說實亡於萬歷，也有人說真正令明朝滅亡的是明英宗朱祈鎮。

再深入探討，又有可能是因為貴族的「地產霸權」，導致平民無地可種，崇禎在亡國之際，正需要貴族捐地出來的時候，並沒有人願意伸出援手，眾說紛紛，現在，歡迎大家多多討論，以論點引出想法，因素的例子數量不限，小至一個，多至十個也可以。

論點不單限於眾大明皇帝，也可以說是某某大臣，例如魏忠賢，只要說出論點就可以。
