貓眼洞前，子時，月黑風高。

一個蒙面書生立於洞前崖邊，向崖下聚集的正邪兩派中人宣告著：

「歡迎各路英雄來到第一屆武林盟主爭奪大會，我是人乾公子，既然是武林盟主爭奪大會，這次約大家來自然就是爭奪武林盟主了！」

這時人乾公子擊一下掌，洞中走出一隻八尺熊人，兩腳行走，嘴中咬住一梳蕉，手中抱住一個被麻繩綑成糭子的白衣男子。

崖下目力高超的俠士倒抽一口涼氣，驚訝道：「是武林盟主！」

「沒錯，正是現在的武林盟主！相信所謂正道中人此刻一定想把盟主救回來，而魔教中人又想把這人生吞活剝！所以，一起來「爭奪」武林盟主吧！」

說罷，那八尺熊人把嘴中蕉吐出，化成鮮黃蕉光，遁空而去。
