Write me a narrative/poem/creative piece about a betrayal. Whether that be a lover's scorn, lion king betrayal or a dramatic assassination - the betrayal is up to you!

Funny how it's the ones you think will protect you are the ones who pull the trigger...  

I'll cap it at 1000 words - but be creative and emotive.
