幸福（古希臘語：εὐδαιμονία、拉丁語：felicitas、英語：felicity、happiness），一種持續時間較長的心靈的滿足[1]。

人類自古以來就對追求幸福的途徑有着濃厚的興趣。研究幸福本身，及研究何種人生態度會帶來幸福等等的學問，被稱為「幸福學」（eudaemonics）。將幸福視為道德上的最高追求，並以能否帶來幸福作為判斷行為臧否之標準的思想，則被稱為「幸福主義」。

而這本書，是關於一名人類尋找幸福的故事。
