所謂『樹人病』，不知道是病毒、細菌還是寄生蟲哪一種病原體，也不知道是怎麼感染方式，可是得了樹人病的人，其過程完全沒有異狀，很難發覺自己得病了，唯有透過檢驗即早發現...然而在沒有任何治療方法的前提下，發現了又有什麼用呢？

而病人最後的下場，是毫無感覺、毫無痛苦地，變成一顆佈滿綠葉的青樹，紮根在地面上，就這樣迎接自己的結局。
