@Musesation, I totally second that! I think the language itself is beautiful and polite but they seem to have so many things one needs to understand AND they have different meanings for the words even if they sounded the same :/
@Blueberrykitten, Yes forever <3
I don't know about the manga, really but I've only read the third one halfway (I think? I'm not sure, it was quite a while ago) just to see where the story leads after the battle at the academy (this one I watched in anime) but I had to stop afterwards 'cause it didn't interest me anymore, not to mention the purebloods (Kaname and Yuki) but that's just my opinion so you can keep reading and see for yourself aha :)
I haven't watched/read Vampire Knight but I've been meaning too. My friends won't stop pestering me! XD
I really like Kuroko no Basuke, Durarara!!, Shingeki no Kyojin, Free!, Junjou Romantica, Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, Naruto, Uta no Prince-sama and sooooo many more! Those are just the beginnings ?
I don't know too much about movies, unfortunately ? I do, however, LOVE Marvel!
I like listening to Post-hardcore, punk-rock, pop-punk, and others along the line, although I do appreciate alot of songs from other genres. My favourites are Thousand Foot Krutch, One Ok Rock, All Time Low, Fall Out Boy, then ALOT of J-pop/rock. I've been getting into K-pop too recently :)
@Calligraph, I haven't seen those that you mentioned above including Shingeki no Kyojin (which I've been meaning to watch but due to me being swamped with assignments and stuff, I haven't gotten around it) >.<
I like listening to those genres too (my fav J-Rock band is definitely One OK Rock at the moment haha) but just like you said, I don't mind listening to other genres as well like indie and some folk stuff. For K-Pop, I'm really into B2ST (Dong Woon <3_<3)
You all have good taste in anime! XD I've watched all of Vampire Knight and read all of the manga- if you're a fan of the anime, the manga will blow your mind at the end. I tried watching Free!, but never really got into it as much as I should have... One anime that I think is fantastic is called Psycho-Pass, it's just awesome. Another anime I would recommend watching if you like reverse harem would be Hakuouki or Dance with Devils.
I've heard of Psycho Pass as well but never really check that out. You've read the entire VK manga? What a dedication, haha! I already stopped reading it halfway when Yuki and Kaname entered this one tunnel..and well..do some stuff I guess. I'll try to check out the reverse harem ones whenever I could :)
@Emoddess, Yup, the VK manga is so worth it when you get to the end, in my opinion. :D As for the reverse harem anime, Dance with Devils is quite a short series compared to Hakuouki (it has like 3 different series, 2 movies, and a few spinoffs) so you might want to watch that one first- whatever you decide, though. :3
@Petra Fraser, Really? Aww man! I kinda gave up on that one because well, the 2 season VK anime that I watched got me like, 'Okay, I am content with this.' but then I just couldn't read the manga knowing that she went with Kaname and left the poor, heart broken Zero behind. Then again, I stopped reading that a few years ago so the passion died for a while. I just saw that the manga is complete now so...perhaps I'll try and read that again from where I left off :)
As for Dance With Devils, I think I'm going to watch that first - got the anime bookmarked already! :)
@Petra Fraser, Ahaha really? Well I have to watch it then! By the way, I've started reading VK again (from where I left off) and I've got about 40 more chapters before I got to the ending and ahh...I'm kinda glad I'm reading it now because I want to know how things end up (although I may have encountered a little spoiler that made my heart break a little but...I'm still going to read it till the end :/ - :D )
@Emoddess Oh, spoilers are the worst sometimes... and guess what I found out? Matsuri Hino is launching a new VK manga in June! Can't wait to find out what happens. ^_^
@Petra Fraser, I'VE FINISHED READING VAMPIRE KNIGHT!!!
Ahhh I felt pretty sentimental really with the ending and the extra chapters! Ofcourse I did get really emotional but I think I'm really content with it. To think that I had given up on the manga just because I only watched the two-season anime... I'm so glad I started reading on where I left off and got to the ending! XD
@Petra Fraser, I just finished watching Dance With Devils and I absolutely loved everything about them. It was a very peculiar concept to have the characters break out into a musical sort of thing but that's what's unique about it - it was my first time watching something like that and I'm so glad I did. The ending between her choosing to go with him or stay in the human world got me slightly torn up but kinda glad as well in how it turned out and ahhh I just love it. It's definitely one of my favourites now so thank you so much for suggesting me the anime! <3
@Emoddess, You're welcome, I'm pleased that you enjoyed it! At the end I SO wanted her to go with Rem, but... oh well! The way the last scene went, it almost felt like it should have a second season? I bet they could do more with the series since she stays in the human world.
@Petra Fraser, Yes, yes I totally understand what you meant! I was actually torn because I wasn't sure which she'd choose!
Her decision on wanting to stay in the human world got me quite surprised because I was expecting the almost all too familiar ending where the girl would normally go with the guy and stuff but I can't say I'm too disappointed about it. That was definitely a great twist to put into and it goes to show how DWD is not your typical reverse harem anime (if we can't already tell by the musical element haha XD)
If I'm not mistaken, although it hasn't really been confirmed but there's some speculations that mentioned the second season for DWD will be in 2017 :)
@Emoddess, Yeah, DWD does not disappoint! XD I really hope that there ends up being a second season (I want to see more of Mage if he ever comes around again!). I've never really found any other reverse harem besides DWD bearable except for Hakuouki - I think they're making a chibi type series of that one here in the near future.
@Petra Fraser, Yep! I like Mage and Lindo the most besides Rem and Ritsuka and the other characters. Hakuoki? I think the chibi version would be the Hakuoki: Otogisoushi.
I haven't seen Hakuoki yet but I'll try to check it out when I can. I think I've came across some really good reverse harem anime but I couldn't remember which though. Have you watched Starry*literally a star in the middle* Sky? I haven't seen it yet but I thought I'd like to check it out and it doesn't seem like a bad reverse harem :)
@Petra Fraser, After suggesting you that, I've actually checked it out myself and while it wasn't actually a bad anime, I just didn't really like it much (but I've only seen 2 or 3 episodes of it) so don't count on my opinion too much haha. If you find that you like the anime, then that's great :D
On the other hand, I've watched the first season of Hakuoki and I liked it. I'm planning on watching the second one right after my exams since I've yet to prepare for them o_o
@Emoddess, Sounds like a plan, I'll watch and see how it turns out! Oh, don't forget to watch the Hakuouki movies as well after your exams (if you haven't already seen them), because they have a few extra things as well as a few instances where they totally change up the plot. And the third season of Hakuouki is more like a prologue, but you'd probably want to watch that before even watching the second season movie because there's a character cameo in the 2nd movie that you wouldn't know unless you've seen the third season. It's all jumbled! XD Sorry, got kind of long there.
@Petra Fraser, Ahhh I see! So I should skip to the 3rd season before watching the 2nd one? Okay~
Oh yeah, I recommend you another reverse harem anime, it's called Arcana Famiglia which is one of my favourites <3
@MarsianWarrior, That's cool! I have to say though, that the first time I watched Naruto, I was really young and all I did was just shipping characters (one of my favs is Sasuke and Sakura). Through out the years, I watched less of them and it's probably because the concept kinda confuses me. This might sound lame, but I haven't even watch the slightly latest Naruto movies :/
I guess I'm not exactly a huge fan of the anime..although I had written one fanfic about it ._.
But! Which are your favourite characters? :)
Kakashi is actually one of my favorites. And I had no choice but to stop watching it for now since I'm always busy with something. Tho I do live dance with devils one of my favorite anime. I also loved the anime devil may cry based off of the video games. It was really good i maybe when you get the chance to watch it. I say the only thing I didn't like about iit was that it didn't have Virgil in it but other then that it was awesome.
^_^
I totally understand about being busy with stuffs haha
I've heard about Devil May Cry and I know it was from a game but I didn't realise there's an anime too..hmm I'll try to check it out whenever I can :D
I used to like simple action anime/manga where I just wanted to see cool weapons, brutal fights, and badass characters. Basically shonen. And that goes for romance and comedy too.
But now I more into a story with some deep-plot where I can be absorbed into.
I like any genre as long it has deep-plot and maybe fleshed out character.
I pretty much agree with you there although it depends on my mood really. And if they have all of these elements of action and a meaningful deep plot, then that's even better ^_^
since I love mystery, now I look for mystery anime/manga for serious watch/read. Recently I just watched The Perfect Insider and Rokka no Yuusha (I know I am late, but I just hadn't got the time then).
I still hangover of Rokka. The premise was so brilliant.
@giccho, I haven't heard of those two before but I did look it up and thought they looked interesting! Based on those, why don't you try Musaigen no Phantom World, Hyouka and Mekakucity Actors (this one can be quite boring and confusing at times but I thought they're one of the good ones too) :D
These are what I could think of as of now. Tell me what you think about them if you do check 'em out ^_^
Meeee!! I just recently watched the anime and I loved it. I'm aware that the manga is still going on and there's that one part that makes Hak x Yona fans go crazy if I'm not mistaken haha I did too (but I didn't read the manga >.<)
@Emoddess, Yesss! I read the manga, but I haven't been keeping up. Omaigawd there are so many Hak x Yona moments kyyaaaa~ \(=>0<=)/
Yona's a good heroine imo. She has her strengths and weaknesses, but not too much in either category, I think.
@Musesation, Yes yes yessss!! I absolutely agree with that. She does have her strengths and weaknesses but it's all in an appropriate equilibrium <3
I want more of them <3
Zero Kiryuu, though *heart eyes*
Oh, not to forget Rima and Shiki as well *double heart eyes*
@Blueberrykitten, Yes forever <3

Oh gosh, really? Daaamn I'm pretty excited about that too but I need to finish this VK manga first~! :D

I totally get it
I flipped out and though my phone on the floor when that happened
