In average from all my stories I have 47 (in 2-3 years) in wattpad. :-(
Of course I could concern and focus all the time in doing again and again sharing and posting ads there but time has grown precious and need it for other important things such as writing them. ^.^ Plus I have other forums where I share it too, so when added all the views together would come to over thousand views and ten comments + or -
Few years back those meager numbers would have depressed me but now I know, I write those stories in the first place for me. With a number of readers love it then I'll gladly make a copy for them if they require and am happy to know that there are few with similar imagination out there. ^.^
19.1k reads for my fantasy story, but that's from 2012 to now.
In this site, it's already past 500 reads in just a few weeks. It seems like people really like fantasy books here. 😀 Wattpad readers are kind of strange, books filled with hair pulling errors, bad sentence structure, zero story, and cookie cutter plots rank high. But here readers seem a little more particular. :D
You can entice more people to read by revising and editing each chapter after each draft is done. If the flow and rhythm is improved even more then it already is (❤) your readers on here should be even happier.
It sure is great that nowadays writers can instantly share our works without being gated by the 'Big 5' publishers. (Not that they aren't great; I just think they need to relax a little.)
Yay Penana and Wattpad!
Don't forget Goodreads and the Figment websites. Goodreads is much like Amazon in that it's a bad idea to put up a book unless it's been edited, revised and looked over by beta readers. (If not, they won't give good reviews.)
Mine is around 18.5k, which was a very popular historical fiction, which doesn't seem to be doing as well here, well it's been only four chapters so far and it has slow updates because I need to work a lot more on it.
Hi I am Utopia. My highest read count is 800. Story name is IMAGITOPIA. hope you all will like it. Well I have not uploded it over there but it is over here.
