故事始於二十多年前的漁船上，子君一個無心的舉動，救下掙扎在自毀邊緣的雪城，兩個孤獨的靈魂從此相擁。年少的情愫，在現實的酷烈捶打下，卻顯得脆弱不堪。雪城徒有純潔的外表，實則她的心智早被成人世界的罪惡捲噬得殘缺不全，這真面目教子君無所適從。一場巨大的誤會如刀揮下，斬斷雪城的光與一切。路途遙遙，她卻再也無路，唯見身前斷崖，與棄她而去的那抹背影——
命運曾讓她們互相奔赴，最終又使她們各自天涯。
在泥濘中，一個新的小生命掙扎降臨了，這個女孩世希的命途，本該如同她的母親雪城一樣多舛，為了活下去，世希體內誕生了一個保護她的人格希斯，編織出她能如正常人一樣生活的美好假象。故事圍繞2013年的園平，十九歲的世希離開孤兒院後，執著瘋魔的子君為了繼續查找雪城的下落，設計世希成為了她的房客。故人重逢的背後，卻暗藏利用，當世希漸漸意識到的時候，已經深陷其中，只能一步步被推入更多古怪的事件中。殊不知這些事件的背後，世希、子君，還有那些曾經參與到雪城的過去的人，都不過是受牽連的局中人。更多的祕密，關於希斯的，關於雪城的，都關係到所有惡的終結。她們到底會被引向何方？這一次，她們能成功擺脫命運的桎梏嗎？
