Bio: Just a couple sentences about you as a reader/editor. Include strengths and weaknesses, whatever you think authors need to know about you.
Beta Readers: If you have to make any changes do so by editing your post. Also, if at any time you wish to stop or halt beta-ing, please say edit your post. Doesn't have to be some long paragraph, a simple "No longer accepting beta requests" at the top of the post will do.
Authors: If you wish to ask one of the beta readers to beta something of yours, please send them a PM. Do not post a reply to their post as that will just make everything really confusing. Only beta readers can create posts and reply to their own posts in this thread. It's just to make everything clean and ordered because I'm slightly OCD about stuff like this.
All communication between authors and beta readers should be done through the preferred communication system.

Will Beta: Pretty much anything of any rating.
Will Not Beta: The ONLY things I won't beta are fanfictions for fandoms I'm not a part of because I just wouldn't know how to help.
Preferred Form of Communication: Email, Penana PMing, or anything else really. It's all up to the author.
Preferred Form of Beta-ing: Google docs, Penana's system, and again, pretty much up to the author.
Time Frame: About 24 hours. I'll try to read through it in a timely manner and get back to you when I can. If I can't beta during a day, I will let you know.
Bio: So to start off with I'll say that I'm pretty great at grammar. I normally correct people in real life so when I read online I do it even more often. I read a lot so I know a bit about plot structure and I typically can recognize if something is moving too fast or too slow. Honestly, I just love to read so anything you have to offer I will probably jump on the chance to beta.
Will Beta: Fantasy/Sci-fi, any rating
Will Not Beta: I tend to stay firmly in Fantasy, but if you have a story that peaks my interest I would be willing to beta.
Preferred Form of Communication: Email, Penana PMing. This is up in the air, we can work something out that works for both beta and author. :)
Preferred Form of Beta-ing: Penana's system, Google Docs, but up to the author.
Time Frame: Depending on the length of the document 1-3 days. But, I will try to get back as soon as possible. I work full time during the day, so expect late evening and night responses.
Bio: I am really good at plot building and character development. I get into the characters head and can pull out their emotions and personalities. When it comes to fantasy, I thrive in descriptions of the setting. Often it is a new created planet and I love to get the vision across to the readers. I am good with grammar. Sentence structure is important and I can make the flow of the story smoother for the reader. Each person has a distinct writing style, as a beta I try my best to shift my writing process to match their own. When two writing styles buttheads the story tends to break the flow of the story.
I love to help other authors, so I am excited to get a chance to beta! :)
