故事講述小學老師兼單親媽媽淑蓮，意外遭詛咒纏身，每當月圓就會變成兔子，隨著時間流逝，她身上的詛咒變得越來越強大，開始嚴重影響她的生活，使她一直活在恐懼和痛苦之中，不能再身兼兩職。

期間她的女兒也必須學會照顧自己和媽媽，不能再像以往般耍任性；倆母女能夠合力解開詛咒，一同回到過去簡單幸福的生活嗎？

故事採用童趣奇幻風格，講述一段有關愛與責任的感人事跡；故事裡的「詛咒」暗喻絕症，是將絕症的內核藏入「變成兔子」的設定；淑蓮的每一次「變化」，都是絕症患者從「正常」走向「失能」的縮影，藉此呈現被照顧者與照顧者互相交替的心路歷程。

這段圍繞「詛咒」與「守護」展開的故事，從淑蓮的崩潰、艾薇的覺醒到陳老師的堅定，藏著每個角色的成長蛻變，也悄悄告訴我們：所謂的「完整」從來不是毫無缺憾，而是在面對失去與不同時，學會與自己和解、與身邊人相依。
