My name is Ella, I'm nearly 24 and from the UK.

I'm an avid reader and a persistent writer. I write mature fantasy at the moment although this could change in the future! I'm a single mother, my son is four and I'm currently studying psychology at university. It's nice to meet you all and feel free to message me :D

I'm Holden! I'm in middle school, and I live in North Carolina.

Like Ella, I'm an avid reader, and writing is at least a good chunk of my life. I write a whole load of pretty disturbing and intriguing crime, occasional horror, and science fiction. So, yeah. I don't bite, explode, burst into flames, or commit mass murder in Russia. So feel free to message moi!

My name's Joey, 19 from Texas.

I write a lot of dark themed poetry that reflects on my current mood or the past. I'm a slow reader so I don't get to read as much as I want. I'm autistic, shy and not sure what else to say. I like talking to people even if people usually scare me

I'm Scarlett Rose, I live in the UK and I'm a teen writer/full-time student.

I have won awards and competitions on the writing site Wattpad with a story that just reached 363,000 reads a couple of days ago. I also joined Penana a couple of days ago so I'm new here.

I love to read, write, listen to music.

Hello! I'm new here... I'm pretty sure that's obvious by the small amount of stories I have, haha :D. I try to write everyday, but whether I post it or not kinda depends on quality.

Anyway, I just heard of this site, even though I've been searching for writing sites like this for an entire year. I'm also on Figment, Wattpad, Writer's Cafe, and Movellas! Yeah, I haven't been on Movellas in a while, or Writer's Cafe, but I'm pretty active on the others :D

Anyone want to talk about geeky things?

Hi! I'm new here, loving this site so far. I aim to write one chapter every 4/5 days, so I'm writing nearly every day.
I write one story at a time, but hoard stories in my little black book as the ideas come to me. I write for fun, this isn't a career for me, but strangely I love ruthless feedback. Improving my writing is important to me and I am not precious about what I write, so if anyone enjoys critiquing, let me know!

@HoldenKern, - I do 20 minute writing sprints with fellow writer friends on facebook, so try to get something down every day. The sprints make it really fun!
