Hello and welcome to the Mythology Society where all lovers of olde tales unite! Here you can introduce yourself to the group and tell us a bit about yourself!
I'll start it off: I'm Nicole, I hail from Canada and have a passion for art, writing and history as well as mythology (particularly Greek mythology). I've been writing for as long as I could remember and like to take inspiration from old myths. I hope we can get this society off of the ground and expand the community here. :)
I'm MousyCh (Ana) and I am from Romania, Europe. I like to write but that's not my specialty. I still have a long way to go. I am interested in mythology and demonology and I often use them as inspirations. I wanted to be an archaeologist at first and I still enjoy reading about Greek and Egyptian mythology.
I hope many people will join this society and I hope we will become a great, weird family! ^^
Hello everyone!! :D My name is Stefani, typically go by Stef. I am currently obsessed with Norse Mythology. I have been researching for a little over 6 weeks now for the novel I am writing. It is based on that culture, but am using it without their gods. It is a little twisted. :)
I grew up loving Greek and Roman mythology (I am Greek) and when I was studying Japanese in college, I studied Japanese mythology also. A lot of my creatures that I create are loosely based off Japanese mythology and youkai. :)
I am excited about this society and hope it grows! :D
@Nicole Armas, I never had an interest in it until this story popped into my head a few months ago. :) I'm creating my story bible so I've been reading nothing but books on Norse culture and mythology, rune magic. I love it! :)
Hi all! I'm Sarah and a second-year medieval history student. I adore Greek/Roman mythology (I have a bit of a tiny crush on Achilles... is that normal??) and I too love Egyptian mythology - I've been obsessed with it since I was about five years old!
Since I've ran out of things to say, I'll leave it at that and say again: Hi!
@MousyCh, Arthur and the Knights of the round table is one that I find more interesting because of the effect it had on medieval society and ideals of chivalry - both Henry VII and Henry VIII were obsessed, and HVIII even had a round table made!!
You can call me Rose. I love mythology. Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Noric, Japanese, and native American mythology. Demonology and all things supernatural wise also fascinate me. I'm from the southern part of the united states
Sup everyone! You are all considered my family now because you love mythology. >//<
All righty, here I go...I'm Aschente, but ya'll can call me Darken if you fancy that. :3
I hail from America, but grew up in France, and I thoroughly enjoy Greek, Celtic, Egyptian, Welsh, Chinese, and Japanese mythology. ^-^
It's nice to meet you all, and I hope we can talk about our obsessions later! XD
