It's awesome that you got to see the re-enactment on your own! I've only seen those things on a documentary on TV haha
I think it's probably due to curiosity but I think I'll probably choose one of those medieval times of King Arthur. Some say he was an actual person, while others say he's not and I don't know, maybe witnessing when he first became King, or when he wield the Excalibur? I probably watched too much Merlin ._.

@Emoddess, I actually didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did! It was my dad's idea, but I'm converted now! Battle re-enactments are the way to go!! Definitely try and get to one if you get the chance!! I've always been taught that Arthur was mythical but who knows?? There's a lot of our history that we're still just guessing about
