Ever think that you're not real. Like what if we're all the figment of some greater being's imagination. We're all a creation inside this elder one's dream and when he wakes up we will all cease to exist.

If that was actually true and life wasn’t real and didn’t matter then society would probably be divided into four groups/types of people:

A) the ones having an existential crisis and not sure how to make the most of their lives if it’s all meaningless

B) the ones who still somehow manage to think “ok well I’ma still make the most of it somehow” and continue (probably like 1-2% of the population Lmao)

C) The ones who are like “welp why does life matter then?” And uh… they… stop living…

D) The ones who are like “WOOOO NOTHING MATTERS SO LET’S SCREW THINGS UP”

Wait wait wait that could be a good idea for a novel hold on I gotta write this down-

so i think the reason i came up with this is because i read hp lovecraft like forever ago and like last night i read one of his stories again and realized thats exactly the hp lovecraft mythos. Theres this other worldly being thats dreamimg and we're in their dream. theres this cult that tries to keep that thing asleep or the entire world will stop exsisting.
