@Andrew Knight, I hope you can catch up! For me, distractions aren't really the problem, it's just not knowing where to go with my story. The age old writer's block has struck me again! Luckily I've managed to shake it off for now.
I am too! I added a couple new characters and that gave me new energy for this chapter! Also my husband made shredded buffalo chicken tacos for dinner and that makes writing go so much easier with something GREAT for supper.
@Frances, I've added some new characters too. Adding new people and situations can keep a story going.
Also: Buffalo chicken tacos? That sounds amazing!
Nice! I'm contemplating dinner when I get home from work, I just got my elk back from the processor and elk tacos sound pretty good! Keep at it, everyone!
@Nicole Armas, You are rocking right along with your angels aren't you?? Good job!!!
And yes.....SO good. Just throw frozen chicken in the crockpot with buffalo sauce and whatever extra spices you want on high for three to four hours then shred it up with a fork. Then add the taco ingredients you like with a little bit of blue cheese sprinkled or a drizzle of ranch. AMAZING and super easy.
@Nicole Armas, you can do it with BBQ too and make pull pork or chicken sandwiches. I also like to put that on nachos too and have BBQ nachos.......
I really love my crockpot.....
@Nicole Armas, I know! I love that I get dinner done in the middle of the afternoon and all I have to do is serve it and its a easy clean up afterwards when I'm tired and ready to crash.
@Nicole Armas, agreed. Though it is nice to cook the good old fashioned way too, I just don't have the time with my toddler running around and it makes me nervous having the stove or oven on and knives around. Its quick and easy and safe to just chop it all up and toss it in the crockpot, high and far away from her.
