I enjoyed seeing the naive and vulnerable side of Grim. It really puts emphasis on how little time he has left. I can see that although his creation confuses him at times he deeply cares for them. The only part that confused me was the bit about the bodies. Were they there the entire time? Where they recently dropped off by Blaine? Or were they invisible to Faldo till that very moment? I think I might have missed what happened.
It is the Temples job to care for the dead, typically the souls would have already been escorted to the underworld to stand before the Grim but because of the destruction of the Temple, the Portal is buried. The souls still have to be cared for and that is the necromancer's job. I can clarify that part. Baine's part in it is locating remains that need to be gathered and brought to the temporary settlement. He was a bit miffed at the rejection once more from his father.
