Wow, I read it all! The inner monologue was organic and easy to read, albeit repulsive. Haha! Good job!
I feel like this can't be the ending, no way... Finley's way too angry and outspoken; where are the dramatic consequences?? Why doesn't he punish or forgive these people and why don't they punish or forgive him? Would be fascinating at least for me to see any of their characters go into conflict and/or change! I really thought Amy the psychologist would've diagnosed him and destroyed him with the truth already. But again, good job, it was entertaining!
You're right Jack, this whole series was simply a prelude to a bigger and more expansive series as planned back in 2011. So yes this was never the end of this story, it's simply an introduction. The planned continuation was a look at Jacob Finley weeks after trying to get a new job while Amy looks for him, wanting him back in the company after Orly has taken over. I might still write it when I have the time. It's been 5 years.
I've left the project stagnant for so long. I hate that this was the first story you'll ever read from me hahaha I have other stories I am more proud of on here. Hope you read those instead.
Thank you for reading! And I'm glad you were entertained by this repulsive story.
