It's a sad thing, really, that schools are so willing to discourage kids from practicing their religion and beliefs. School is definitely more than just academics, but unfortunately as time goes on, it seems people are forgetting that. Putting religion aside, my high school is currently "preparing students for college" over life. Kids shouldn't have to be afraid for standing up for their beliefs, but schools don't exactly endorse that thinking. Well said.
I pulled my kids from public school because theyre bringing about a generation qho knows how to solve quadratic formulqs but not balance a checkbook, or who knows everything about WW1 but not about standinfg for what they believe in
