Well science was one of my favourite subjects growing up (It's too bad I wasnt very good at it) I thought it was important that even in a world of magic that science and technology is just as important. It was intentional for Kaela to split Ray and Lynx up. Although they can get along when need be, she thinks it's best not to leave it to chance. Another reason is because Lynx's magic doesn't work well with Ray's making it a better bet to partner him with Dimetrios
I like the way you are incorporating some basic science into the book. LOL, must be the teacher in me, I always like to read something that will subtly teach while entertaining and there are not many people who would incorporate the laws of thermodynamics into their work. Was it a conscious move for Kaela to split up Lynx and Ray because of the friction the two have? But anyways another good chapter.
