@Miria Klutz, Well it was what I was thinking when I read it.

Also... If the village knew a freak storm was coming why the hell would they board a ship? I know it's to set up plot, but seriously. It's not a huge issue, but I don't know. And man, everyone but ryann is a complete jerk.

@JellyKat, Oh I mean they saw it, but they couldn't anticipate its strength. They captain figured they could pull through, but obviously he was wrong.
