I spotted a few grammatical issues but this story wasn't bad. I think out of all the ones I read, I think there was one other that had a male lead. I also like the Silence of the Lambs costume idea. I'm pretty sure I've never seen anyone dress as them before. Also, you have to be mindful with the newer generation coming up, things have to be dumbed down for certain audiences...
@Tenshi no Yami, oh cool. I am toying with an idea for a while now but lack the time to actually sit down and write, but of I do get around to actually doing something I’ll contact you. Thanks :)
@CatchMeIfYouCan, honestly that's all I have. If you ever want me to read (beta) some of your works let me know. Bear with me if you do though as I come and go on this site
@CatchMeIfYouCan, I didn't mean referencing older movies would go over their heads, I was alluding to the fact that the newpapers lame name could possibly reflect how some people think (or them just not being the smartest bunch). Also you don't need gore to have a horror story. That man's OCD was more than enough to see this wasn't going to be a happy story
Oh, thank you. I truly have no experience writing from male pov, and in horror genre too; but I liked the challenge and the opportunity to write something that I am not too used to. I think that’s why my story didn’t contain too much gore and actual murder; but I wanted mostly to focus on the mind of the serial killer, of the little details he’d care about. Do I have to be mindful of the references to older movies, or was it something else you reffered to? Thanks. :)
