nicolzie it's not selfish of you! Even though they may not know exactly what it is for you, they will always get a feeling of what you are going through and I for one get it and understand how you are feeling..I was hoping to tell you that the last piece of writing you wrote was lovely, it is a beautiful story..I hope you are feeling better now! I genuinely feel it, and I find I am able to connect with what you have been feeling...maybe if you have similar frustrations or feelings next time you can let me know? :) I'll be here!
I really want to thank you for your kind words :) I'm doing better and I'm really glad. The next time either of us have blocks, maybe we can break through them together eh? Also, thank you for the opportunity to join in on your christmas contest! It was a really great experience, and that song from Chanwoo Bang is now one of my favorite songs ^_^ I listen to it all the time!
Mhmm! We can break blocks together, you won't be alone! I'm happy to hear you liked the song, and that you're doing better! :') *grins* this made my day!
nicolzie, I almost forgot to tell you! I really liked the photo you chose for the new contest you hosted, it is my favorite scene from the Disney movie Tangled, where Rapunzel starts singing the song 'I See the Light', as the beautiful lanterns float away gently to the lit-up night sky, a song which I came to love. And nicolzie, my best friend in primary school was called nicole too..she moved to Australia with her family when the second last year of primary school ended..you reminded me of her, as she had a feeling similar to you, your writing and the style of art and illustrations which she loved. ok I'll stop here for now! Tis' is getting a bit long! *looks away embarrassed* Have a good day nicolzie! Take care and stay warm!
@nicolzie, I was about to click into penana and you replied, these things seem to be happening to me quite often recently..:) I hope you'll have a nice week too!
Ok, I just found this super article on rekindling your writing touch. I really felt it had some good pointers. I thought of you so I'm just going to leave this here... http://www.writingforward.com/news-announcements/guest-posts/how-to-rekindle-your-writing-when-youve-lost-touch
no pressure or anything, just thought you might enjoy it!
hi! *waves and gives a reassuring smile* I'll always be here if you need someone to talk to!:) I think it might also be good if you write your blocks down and share them with other writers here, as they may actually be having similar experiences and having the same feelings with writing!
I agree! Even if you don't think your writing is particularly good at the moment, that's just fine. The point is you are writing. The point is to get into the habit of doing it. Writing this blog for example is GREAT! It doesn't matter if it's poetry or not, just getting into the swing of writing a little every day is important. I think you are doing awesome. You are expressing yourself clearly and concisely, your ideas flowed naturally throughout this entry, that's more than most people can handle! Be kind to yourself and just write what you think, like here, instead of what you feel. Writing is as much cerebral as it is emotional. Maybe this is a good time to work on that aspect?
