I was going to continue binge reading but I remembered I was going to watch this feminist western movie called The Keeping Room. Which reminded me of your stories.
Shoot. You know when you see a trailer and you go "crap....I wish I had written that...." it reminds me of in 'gone with the wind' when the deserter comes to the house and Scarlett shoots him and Melanie comes out dragging a sword. It's like they took the coolest part of that movie and made it into an epic. Great cast too.
@Frances, I can actually see you writing this kind of movies! And also if you still haven't seen this movie, really reminds me of your writing. It's called Brooklyn and it's currently nominated for Best Picture on the Oscars. About an Irish girl migrating to America.
Aww I liked Maier but I guess this will be his last appearance. Anyway, from looking at the comments, you probably changed the last part? But yeah this still got me worried. Gruber is such an awesome character for reasons that he is such an effective antagonist and very great with words and actions. He's like a slithering snake.
Haha too stereotypical? I didn't want it to be an aggressively violent taking because it's the resistance (obviously) but her family does have a reputation for being snooty wealthy so it couldn't be pleasant
Im anxious to see the action pick up, theres so many ways this could go! I hope you do another collab from this world eventually, I'll want in on that haha
