Glad to see the development of characters, to see how they keep getting stretched! Also, another positive note, the grammar and syntax has been looking really nice the last few chapters. Keep it up!

My one comment for now is just: "keep it connected." So we've got a character who flips out, right? Scott, this quiet kid, snaps. So why? What before that triggered him? And then what next: what happens because of that. The idea of a story is to have each part chain to the next. Y only happens because of X, but X->Y will also lead to Z.
