The thriller writer in me was hoping it would end with a surprise appearance. But then I was like, sit down Alef, there will not be a cliffhanger. I love though how it ended with Puck's dry humor.

The whole "meet the family and they turn out to be rowdier than usual" cliche is all over this chapter. I've got nothing against cliches. In fact, I love some of them. Makes the reading experience much easier for the emotions. The only rule I have is, if you're gonna write a cliche scene, might as well write it well. And that you did, Andrew. That you did.

Yay!  I'm glad this was updated again!  Even though I had to sit through school all day until I could finally read it... Man, this is just such a good and well-written story... thing... is it a vignette? I don't know, but it's good.
