I like how everyone is starting to have an inventory or status bar 🤣
Curious though. Does this Shadow reside only in her head during communication periods? I see that he left her to watch over her (?) but is he going to have any interaction with the others (Caecius, Navi, and Cordis)?

Nope, with the illusion spell, he can choose to directly communicate Magpie or another person. Without the spell, it will have the effect as any common communication. I hope Shadow will get the opportunity to interact with Caecius, Navi and Cordis. But watch it, he likes to tease everybody with a bit of illusion and remain unpredictable...

@FionaDaydreamer, I'm curious to how that could compete with Caecius' skill then. He might get his chance to interact with at least Cordis and Navi given whats gonna happen in the next update. I also wonder how the other antagonists would react to his teasing.

Caecius would love to see it because he can only affect the air around himself and make sort of clear mirages rather than fully immersed illusions. To be able to do a real one? He'd want to learn from Shadow, but can't do magic so he'd get so frustrated lol

@Imascribble, this actually answers a question I was going to ask when i was writing the next installment. I was going to ask how in depth (detailed I suppose) these illusions were for Caecius

@Tenshi no Yami, They're not bad, but can be picked apart if you notice very slight things close up, such as appearing slightly fuzzy. He distorts the air around him to a point where he can refract the light differently, but it's really better at a distance. It also takes a lot of concentration for him to appear to disappear (like when he was Magpie, he's taller than she is so he had to make his mirage appear as though his head was transparent but it isn't, if that makes sense?). Basically the image must be slightly fuzzy and the background might not line up in certain places (building in the background may be left out if it's behind him, etc.).

@Imascribble, i broke my timeline for my inout due to teleworking but aside from illusions and amplify elements like fire, anything else i should be aware of with Caecius? Fighting ability, weapon usage, etc.

@Tenshi no Yami, sorry for the late reply. He has dual knives but he's not great with them. He relies mostly on his air abilities in combat and usually steps back to let his friend, Vulcan, do the hand-to-hand fighting. He can use these abilities to create fast moving air around him, giving him basically invisible knives if he does it around his hands, or he can make a defensive buffer of tight-knit air around his body (except for face, joints, etc.). But he's clunky with fighting close up and prefers to keep his distance. He's also one to act cocky even when he's clearly out of his league, as I'm sure he will be here :P

This sounds awesome! 😄 A small info about Shadow: besides enjoying to tease others, especially Magpie. He will form a plan that will double cross Caecious and Cordis. And if he gets hurt so will Ignatius because they're connected due to dark magic.
