Im glad you see Pennie this way as I did intend for her biggest flaw is to be too trusting. At this point she hasn’t reaslised how bad the world actually is as in her eyes its only decrimniation and a government abusing its power. She just believes they are closer to peace than they actually are. Eventually she reaslises how bad things are but this eventually leads her to rely on Ray too much. Although she will outgrow this, she will retain her light hearted nature which puts the other characters at ease.

Pennie seems to be able to be described in a singular word, innocence but it seems almost to the point of flaw. Is this purposeful? She is lighthearted, trusting, eager to trust and please those around her. It just seems in a world of persecution, she might be a little more reserved, but I might be reading off (I DO have a one-year-old who is trying to help right now.). I do understand her history and her Uncle, I did read it. It might just be the beginning of her journey and I need to be patient:-P.

I would really like some more information on Pennie's abilities and maybe a little more of her background. Is her family still alive? What is her biggest character flaw? Maybe flesh her out a tad more.
