I liked this chapter as the(attempted) healing of Van's eye reminded me of Katara in ATLA trying to heal Zuko's though he turned it down. Caecius also had me fooled because I was like "Isn't Mag with Jayden...?"
Plus the ability ro literally suck the air out of one's lungs?! Scary 😖

Thankfully, Caecius isn't as interested in fighting the whole team right now as much as he's waiting to pick them off one by one. He's more interested in manipulating Nu so she'll do what he wants, so we shouldn't have to worry too much... yet.

No prob, all is good and Magpie is a tough woman from slavery and the poor streets. 😉 Small correction though, Magpie knows the hotel isn't safe, that's why she ventured off to find a new location after the earthquake.
