不知道作者世界觀設計的多大，島的大小也不知，若是參考現實日本的小島嶼人口，在這和平發達年代萬餘人都覺得有點多，會有作者故意設定高難度給讀者看的感覺。另外既然是舉辦如此重要祭祀，住民基本上不應太多，多半是管制禁止居住居多。
日本有個世界遺產的外島，年舉辦一次重要祭祀。印象中不准人居住，還有女人不準上島等規定，有興趣大大可以參考看看
