Is there a reason he calls her Master instead of Mistress? There must be some kind of cultural nuance I'm missing.

No haha, uhm... So in the anime the main character he serves is male, and she is female. I tried out “mistress” instead of “master” and “my lady” instead of “my lord” but it didnt seem to fit her. My lord and Master seemed to fit in with her personality better. And from the place i live, master and lord are becoming gender neutral, i guess? Kind of how actresses are now being called actors. So, i stuck with it from the original show
