Whoa... the feels! And the song you added in (plz tell me how u did it lol) really set the mood of your story! I also loved the way you compared your character to time and an example of it as the changing versions of cars. This was really saddening, but nonetheless, I still loved this one! It was a coincidental stumble in Spotify.
My character detective Gregor Menard has been in my mind for some time but still needs time to develope.
While listening a similar sort of scene came to mind with him, so voila. I wrote this.
