Lol, yeah your profile pic does make you look a lot older. I was actually mistaken for an eighth grader two days ago at the amusement park. I'm like " Girl, I'm seventeen and with two people who do not look like eighth graders in the slightest!" granted I look pretty much the same as I did in seventh grade. I'm just a bit taller , slimmer and have better hair/ fashion sense. So basically I've been looking the same for four years now. Weird...
Hahaha, so basically you're saying that you still look like a middle schooler :D Hmm, I probably should change my pic then :P Wait, but I don't have any good photographs other than the ones of me making crazy faces while lifting weights 0_0
@weirdguy96, Not really, when I was in middle school people thought I was held back( I'm pretty tall). I probably look more like a first or maybe a second year in highschool.
It was the day most of the eighth graders came to the amusement park. It's like a tradition I guess because almost every school does it in the city. We just picked the wrong day.
@JellyKat, The exact opposite for me. I used to be really small that people used to mistake me for an elementary schooler when I was in middle school. Even now I'm not tall, just a little big and people go about asking where I work :P.
@weirdguy96, I was at work one time and some asked me why I was working in the kitchen when I was supposed to be sixteen. This was a new employee, so she didn't know me well like the others. Granted I have known the Tibbils since elementary since My sister is best friends with their son.
Do I act like one? Is that why? I would prefer not to act like one, because a lot of them are extremely immature and me in middle school... Vastly differs from now. I was a lot more irritable, impulsive, niave and socially retarded. Also didn't swear which I tend to do a lot when not in the household.
For the whole year of sixth grad I had no friends, and was very sad. Also my interests vastly changed a well and I'm much better at drawing.
@JellyKat, I don't actually know why or how I pictured you like that :D Guess you have changed a lot then. Picturing you differently is gonna take a while :P
Lol, no you aren't that obvious.. Just as a rule from what I've observed, people tend to behave certain ways in certain situations. They don't always but usually the sheep mentality kicks in. Most people tend to go to someone they see as superior for help and to your friends you are the superior.
@DollEyed Fae, Hehe. But mind you, this ain't flattery. You're probably doubting it because no one has mentioned it before. I have a distinct feeling that I'm right *grins triumphantly with hands on my hips*
@DollEyed Fae, And you people are doing a fabulous job in stretching my already stretched grin. Would love to stay up and talk but I gotta go to sleep 'cause come tomorrow, I'll have to start studying or else, I'm done for. So, goodnight :) :)
Advantages? Let's see. 1) The lady at the canteen asked me where I 'worked' 2) People I meet for the first time ask if I'm working. 3) Some others have the nerve to ask if I'm married. 4) Yet another group of people ask if I have any (you-know-what) 5) My classmates get scared if I walk up to them suddenly. Trust me, as far as I know, there are no advantages except that policemen never bothered to stop me for licence checks when I was 16 :D Even that doesn't matter anymore as I have a licence :3
@weirdguy96,well, people tend to take others who seem older more seriously. I bet your friends all come to you for advice because whether they do it on purpose or subconsciously they probably think of you as wiser because of your looks.
@DollEyed Fae, Are you a telepath or something?? You're absolutely right about the advice thingy :D They come asking about a lot of stuff, even relationships though they know that I'm a novice :P
