是的，劇情參考改編自228的「社寮島事件」，琉球人在基隆和平島遇害，跟著基隆的眾多臺灣人一起永遠消失😢

@killer,二二八那個時候，一來資訊不如現在流通，平民很難提防軍隊大規模掃蕩的行動，沒辦法及時撤退；二來戰後初期，臺灣的海界沒那麼分明，於是琉球漁民依舊往來在日本南方諸島跟基隆之間，對一部分人來說是短暫在島上停泊，戶籍實際上還是在沖繩的。
總的來說，二二八在當時被認為是本省人與外省人衝突，而社寮島（和平島）上的琉球人漁村，沒人預料到它會淪為戰場，種種不巧導致了悲劇發生T_T
