當初我看到結婚是男方嫁到女方家的記載時也很驚訝，不過這也表示臺灣人男性與女性地位原本就是平等的。這種平等一直到漢文化傳入後才打破，主要原因就是因為漢文化的法律女人沒有繼承權。外來文明雖然帶給臺灣人物質上的進步，但是臺灣人的精神卻敗壞了，女性地位倒退便是其中之一。

@和珖,曾經看過荷蘭傳教士記載台灣人是男女平等的社會。我想男尊女卑應該是後來漢文化傳入的結果。

其實我妹夫就是結婚後住在我妹的娘家，也就是跟我母親住在一起。儘管還有很大的努力空間，但是臺灣目前已經是亞洲最接近兩性平等的社會了。
