Great story! This'd be the perfect start to a whole series about the remnants of Transylvania. ^^

I also love that you used the Baba Yaga. She doesn't get nearly enough attention compared to other folktale monsters

Well, I've always been interested in the story of the Boogeyman, and how everybody seems to be scared of the dark, not because of the dark itself, but because of Baba Yaga.

So I decided to use him and the Eldritch Queen, who's ridiculously underused, and kept from being a truly scary monster simply because they don't make her a main villain, just a kind of background character.

I might take your advice and make it an actual series.
