Portia is presumed to be dead in my story. She was taken to be experimented before Deirdre, which I just realized that I didn't specifically mention, only that she was "gone".
There was a part of dialogue that I had to delete because it went over the word limit. Fritz tells Deirdre that Portia disobeyed him, so she was sent to be punished. He then asks Deirdre if she wanted to be friends with the weak, because "only the weak do not obey." He was trying to make her forget about Portia. Since Portia was the only person to have suspicions about Fritz, it's most likely that she's dead. Sorry this is long, but thank you for liking my story!
