I'm sorry that you can't edit your story. I'm gad that you're taking responsibility (I've seen posts of people acting very childish and defensive). I love your Lego minefield story, now that is scary! I hope that I can compete with you in another contest.

Do not take it so hard on yourself. I understand if you just wanted to share a good story, but know that someone else probably had some value in that story of theirs. I want you to know that no one will judge you harshly for doing so. Buck up! A writer may take inspiration from another's words, but we are writers! We create! No need to take! I want to see you make the best two sentence Horror story ever @Wrenchinator

@Thariel, This isn' the only one. Perhaps there should be a rule against plagiarizing. Unless they can prove they're the original writer (even then, that does still defeat the purpose of writing an original story).
