Ahhhh, well, they KNOW, but don't know that I'm on it that much.
I just have a habit of hiding EVERYTHING I do thats not shopping/school related because I feel like they'll always get mad at me. If I'm watching like wholesome tiktoks on youtube or something I'm still gonna instinctively hide my screen no matter how wholesome it is because they don't like me on youtube.
idk why they think ALL social media is bad. You can't "Accidentally" encounter someone who sells counterfeit pills and "Accidentally" buy from them or something. You have to LOOK for it and be extremely dumb. And any site where there's strangers is bad. Apparently.
Penana is super chill tho so when they found out about it they were fine about IT, but didn't like how I hid from them. (Why? Refer to paragraph one)
Same! I hide literally everything. Like right now, I'm writing this on an Incognito window. My dad basically banned me from YouTube or something. I really don't know what his problem with it is, because like you said, you have to look for whatever you need to find. Parents are stupid sometimes.
My parents found out a week or so ago when they saw the amount of time I spent on it on the home computer by looking at the history. They’ve had a problem with me expressing myself online in the past, but they told me to just “Stick to Google Docs” but they didn’t know that I had it on my phone and school computer as well. Honestly, I think I’ve been safer on here than any other website that could be called “Social media”. I have people I know have the same interests as me, and I don’t have to show my face unlike some of the other apps I’ve used. And then we have @Jay Ellis, our dad lol.
Only really my mother and my grandmother. my mom kinda accident found out about it but she just follows Dear daisy, my blog with random shit i hear and Caedis. She doesn't really know how to navigate the app. She also sent the link to my grandmother. My family knows I write they just don't know what and where i post
@geeky_greeky_nerd, my mother has figured out how to stalk me. She found both my insta accounts all my writing sites and littarly reads all the comments on my stories she finds. She was like yesterday "hey (my name) you swore in two comments yesterday...do better" I somehow made her not share it with the entire world
@Mira, My dad literally installed an app on my phone to track everything I do on it. He said something along the lines of "Why'd you text *** for so long?" when I was quizzing a friend over text. He also follows all of my social media accounts like a creep.
@Mira, It is a shitty move, but even if I do make a second account, he still has to know because you know that verification code you get? The app he installed blocks basically all phone numbers and I have to ask him to unblock it, if that makes any sense. I've just been using me email this whole time.
@geeky_greeky_nerd, bruh. Thats fucking dumb and has to be an invasion of your privacy. Blocks phone numbers? Stupid. You should download it onto his phone...so he understands the stupidity
@Mira, So technically he has the app - everyone in my family has it - but he is the "moderator" meaning he can control all the settings and set rules and what not.

Also damn, if my mom found out, she wouldn't be able to keep her mouth shut. And she'd stalk me - did I mention that?
