古代嫁妝送棺材，一方面代表女方家庭富有，女兒出嫁後不必依賴夫家財產直到死去

另一方面也寓意為夫家帶來官運和財運（棺、官；材、財諧音），並期盼女兒長壽～

就是有：老娘不需要靠你養的概念，我嫁妝很多
