You got a point XD. I guess in this case scenario it might’ve been more clear that the person wasn’t OK. (maybe physical signs showed? Idk lol.)

@Bengolong, body language, I guess. Head down, glum face — although now that I think about it, some people just have sad resting faces. But maybe it looked like the person was crying or something. We didn’t get any actual physical description of how the characters looked, so I’m just trying to use my own imagination.

(Your point probably does still stand though. If you were really fine, then the person questioning you is overthinking things XD.)

i agree it may be very annoying if someone kept pestering you when you’re really doing fine. However, this is directed to be like a situation where the person actually isn’t lol 
I just wanted to keep under the word count that we were given so thats why theres no descriptions of behavior :) That being said, I kind of didn’t want any descriptions tbh— as I also wanted the reader to be able to put this in a perspective that is most relevant and “at home” (if you will) to themselves :))

@a.t.e, I am well and truthfully not at home here. This has never happened to me. 

@Bengolong, well not everyone will relate to everything and thats fine lol personally I’ve been in situations where I wish someone wouldve been like this for me. Which is why I wrote what I did, in case there is someone out there who needs to hear that its fine to be truthful 👍

@a.t.e, in my job, its a common thing that has to be addressed 😰. Even if they dont talk to their leadership directly, its encouraged  that they talk to SOMEONE
