This is intense. Like, once I reached the end of the chapter, I had to payse and reevaluate my life. Mostly because the suicide theme is something personal to me and damn. The characterization is so wonderful????? The details, the dialogue, it all flows so well! There are like, minor mistakes where words are missing in a sentence, but it's so few that it would just take reading through again to find.
Honestly though, this is phenomenal. The way you give insight to everyone's thoughts and their reactions and their grief is just so stunning. I'm in awe, and I'm just so struck by these characters and I feel awful for them! Poor Michael hadn't actually wanted to die but Charlie is never going to know that Michael thought of him in his last moments, although I suppose the phone call hints at it.

Still, this is just absolutely marvelous.
