The moment Lucian said "the stories of Dawn make me feel that this mud isn't the end of everything" I literally had to stop and breathe. That line broke me in the best way possible. And then Barin's hand trembling when he recognized what Lucian's dream meant, I am not okay. The mystery, the destiny, the secret friendship between two boys from completely different worlds... this first chapter already has my whole heart. :))
