This is absolutely amazing. I loved what you did with this. This prompt reeks of supernatural so something like this story is awesome.

Thanks for the kind words.

I was initially planning a sci-fi themed story when I got this other idea of a killer using details about his victims as leverage to avoid the death penalty. Some more thinking during writing brought the story to its current form. It was definitely more creatively challenging to write as compared to the earlier ideas, but also more enjoyable and a learning experience as well.
