@성민,Oh lol. That's an everywhere thing. But at my school we get dress coded for wearing the wrong socks. I think I nearly got in trouble for wearing the "boys"(It was just pants) uniform once too

@Mira, that’s not fair. We choose what socks we want to wear and what gender of uniform we want. It’s just the shirt and the pants we need to wear, plus the name tag.

@성민, thats what I'm sayinnn. We have to wear school socks with our normal uniform then white or black with sport. Teachers a sooo picky about it. Yeahh my school is figuring that out still. They no longer gender the uniforms but ya get weird looks from older teachers if you wear the guy uniformmm. Oh we don't have name tags. we have to wear black school shoes, whatever bottoms (though if you wear a skirt or dress it has to be 5cm above your knee or longer), shirt, navy blue socks and then if you don't want to die of coldness a sweater. Then in term 2-3 we have to wear our blazer too and from school

@Mira, That’s so difficult. Ours is so simple, some girls choose the guys uniform because they just dont like wearing skirts and everyone is fine with it.

@성민, Yeahh welcome to my highschool. I just gave up on wearing earrings because I kept getting in trouble. Apparently they were "too big" which per usual made no sense. Ahhh that sounds like paradise

@성민, Okay so I don't have too much exprience with them (too afraid of gettin in trouble) but they aren't too bad. My school has a system where you get reported then if you get three you get a change session depending how bad it can last up to 2 hours

@Mira, Our detentions add up everytime you skip. There are harsh punishments for detention, if you’re lucky you’ll end up scraping the gum off of floors and desks. If you’re unlucky, you’ll spend detention with the vice principal or the principal themselves. You often get scolded and they call your parents to update them, your time there depends on what you did. They can be up to 5 hours, of course they can still add on to that if you skip. If you ever get like a 24 hour detention, they just break those hours down. So you have to serve like at least 5 hours everyday until you’ve served your detention.

@성민, God daym that's iinsane. We just have to sit in a room and do work for our detentions. Our school has given up with people who skip or even the kids that vape like it's air. That's crazy. Korean schools are scary...

@Mira, normally we dont get suspended for things like that. It’s mostly if you get into a fight or are caught doing drugs on school campus.

@성민, Ooooh yeah we get suspended for fights and drugs and sometimes vapes. but the area I live in is like litteraly famous for crawling with druggies so my school kinda gave up on the drug thing

@Mira, many people here care about their appearance so the school is really strict on hygiene and stuff like that. You’ll mostly see girls wearing makeup and having ironed hair. Everyone looks like models instead of students

@성민, Damnnn. Most girls here wear make up but it's normally light since my school doesn't allow it and you can get in trouble. People try to look nice but no one really cares. Only the popular girls mother with straightening their hair and heavy makeup

That honestly sounds kinda fun. But very toxic at the same time.

@Mira, it’s not really toxic, we don’t only think on appearance we think on mostly personality too. Humorous personalities are the ones that are most popular here, everyone loves those types of people. You can barely tell if a girl is wearing makeup or not. It’s funny because some people care so much that they bring their barber tools to school and cut hair for the guys. This is mostly guys doing this in the bathrooms. I’ve walked in on this multiple times and minded my own business because i was not about to get a detention

Oh my gosh that sounds so fun!! My friends and I just randomly cut eachothers hair in the middle of class when we have reached peak boredem. But yeah probs a good idea not to get invloved
