The singers voice is autotuned and she mumbles a lot. The writers of the song had a good idea of what they were doing. The lyrics are impactful and catchy. But the technical aspect kind of dropped the ball.

I agree. I love the lyrics (the chorus is like the theme of my life right now, lol), but the tune is probably my favorite part. Idk why.

@Bengolong, well, as I writer, I tend to live in my head, in worlds of my own creation, and they usually aren't very pretty. And my best friends are the same way. 'And you know, we're on each other's team.'

@Bengolong, well, the two "big" apocalyptic ones I have (The Battle of Centura and The Forgottens) are all in the planning stage, but my finished book Fall of Ages ended pretty sad. It's not really apocalyptic, but it has elements of war. There's a demented president, if you like that kind of stuff? I'd love feedback on it, if you'd be willing to give some.

@MarkTwain2.0, Yeah I just got to chapter 4. My biggest feedback would be fleshing out your characters. The story just starts and the viewer is expected to care when they're crying (Which they do a lot of) But you need to get the viewer to connect with the characters. Its well written and ill continue reading though.

And as for the fleshing out of my characters, I did realize they weren't as fleshed out as they could (or should) have been, so I'm hoping part of b2 does a little of that.

@MarkTwain2.0, Something I've learned that really helps is to make the main character a female. Because then when the slasher goes after them there's a power imbalance. And you're left on the edge of your seat rather than going.

"Man if I was in that dudes position I would grab the knife and headbutt his nose and-"

When the main character is male.
