Also, they are called ossums because that is the latin word for bones, and the white stripes on their sides look like a big rib cage so that’s why they’re called that. I kind of combined a chipmunk, scorpion, bug, and wolf to make the ossums, as well as I guess a badger for their color scheme. Kind of hard for people to imagine them though through judt words.
