From the two chapters you've posted so far you've created an interesting world of interesting characters that I'm eager to read more about. I really love your main character she's cynical and funny but also easy to relate to. I especially love the way she interacts with September at the end of the second chapter. The way she says that's such a unique quirk sounds forced and awkward but also genuine. Its a nice subtle bit of characterization.
I look forward to seeing your ensemble of character's grow and develop.
